Урок по английскому языку на тему Shopping in Britain

Цель урока:

систематизация и расширение языковых знаний, повышения коммуникативных возможностей и творческого потенциала учащихся по теме урока.

Задачи:

Учебная: Oбеспечить закрепление лексического материала по теме: «Shopping in Britain».

Развивающая: Развитие диалогической и монологической речи по данной теме и умения составлять и вести диалог.

Воспитательная: Воспитание культуры речи, чувства товарищества в коллективной форме работы.

Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

Good morning, children. Sit down, please.

Let’s begin our lesson. Now we’ll speak about food and shopping. First of all, we’ll read poems and rhymes about food.

II. Фонетическая разминка.

Please, answer the questions:

What kind of shop do you know ?
What can you buy at the post-office?
What do they sell at the Bakers?
Where can you buy T-shirt and trousers?
What do they sell at Butcher^,s?
Where can you buy films for your camera?
What can we buy at Boots?

III. Активизация знаний учащихся.

– And now listen to the text about shopping in Britain.

Do you like to go shopping? Of course, you do.

What kind of shops do people like to go to?

Open your books. Ex. 1. p. 89.

Text: «Shopping In Britain»

In some countries shops close for lunch but in Britain shops stay open all day.

You can buy stamps only in a post office. You can buy a film for you camera at the chemist’s. There are some best known shops in Britain. Marks and Spenser is large clothes and food supermarket.

Boots is another shop that sells records, radios.

In Britain there another are special shops like butchers, baker’s, greengrocer’s but many people prefer supermarkets

— Now, look at the memory map and try to answer some questions.

Questions.

1. What can you buy at the post office? (We buy stamps there. )

2. Where can you buy films for you camera? (We can buy films at the chemist’s. )

3. What can you buy at the butcher? (We can buy meat. )

4. Where can you buy vegetables? (We can buy vegetables at the greengrocer’s. )

5. What do they sell at the Marks and Spenser? (They sell clothes and food. )

6. Where can you buy bread? (We can buy bread at the baker’s. )

IV. Релаксация.

T: I see that you are tired. Will you stand up? Let’s remember our poem about London and do exercises.
(Учащиеся и учитель вместе рассказывают стихотворение и выполняют упражнения.)
— Up, down, up, down, (Поднимаем руки вверх и вниз)
— Which is the way (Разводим руки в стороны)
— To London town?
— Where? Where? (Поворачиваемся в стороны)
— Up in the air, (Смотрим по сторонам)
— Close your eyes (Закрываем глаза)
— And you are there! (Открываем глаза)
Let’s pay our attention to the purpose of the lesson:
to speak about
• the country
• the British people, and now to speak about
• London

V. Развитие умений аудировать.

1. What is the capital of Great Britain?
2. How many parts are there in London?
3. What are they?

London is the capital of Great Britain. It is two thousand years old. London is situated on the river Thames. There are 17 bridges across the river. The population of London is about 9 million people.
There are 3 parts in London: the City of London, the West End, and the East End.
So, London is a great city.

Teacher: Listen to the text once again, be ready to answer the questions:

3. What river is London situated on?
4. How many bridges are there across the river?
5. What is the population in London?
